Will Sturgeon has taken the Ronseal approach with his latest venture. The Media Blog – which quietly launched yesterday – “does what it says on the tin”. 

Will, currently head of media strategy at Lewis PR and a former colleague from our silicon.com days, says he wants to create:

a blogging collective exploring all areas of the media from multiple perspectives, with multiple authors – all authorities in their own way.

There has never been a more important time to better understand the value of the media or how, and why, it works.

And his first signing to his “collective blog” is … well, me. I’ll continue to publish here, on Journalism.co.uk and, as of later today, on the new blog.

For those of you who already follow his Sturgeon’s Law blog will know Will’s an insightful and entertaining writer. He’s also a Liverpool fan, but that’s okay as it rarely gets in the way of the day job.
